Dog exercise areas

Dog exercise areas are provided by Council for dog owners. These areas have been designed to cater for the recreational needs of dog owners and non dog owners throughout the community.

A permit is required for taking any other animal (for example, a horse) into park, reserve, foreshore or onto a beach.

Dog exercise maps display the off leash dog exercise areas for each local Division. Please note that the areas marked on each map indicate the off leash area only.

Generally fenced areas exist within the defined off leash area shown on the map, however owners must still maintain control of their dogs at all times.
